Sydneysiders are taking advantage of the changed rules around outside gatherings by heading to beaches and parks across the city this evening.

Bondi in the eastern suburbs and Manly Beach on the Northern Beaches were busy with groups of people as the sun set this evening.

Five vaccinated people are now allowed to meet outside in Sydney - such as for a picnic.
