Bindi Irwin wows US by recreating iconic Dirty Dancing lift

Bindi Irwin and dance partner Derek Hough have recreated the famous Dirty Dancing lift scene while rehearsing for Dancing with the Stars this week.
Hough shared an image of the pair holding the pose in a lake, mimicking the scene made famous by Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey in the 1988 film.
The sensational rehearsal follows Bindi’s high scoring cha-cha performance last week.
Hough and Bindi made their debut on Dancing with the Stars last month, when they performed a jive to Elton John’s ‘Crocodile Rock’.
Other couples have tried to tackle the famous lift, including Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone’s performance in the film Crazy, Stupid Love, and Chris Hemsworth’s unsuccessful attempt on Saturday Night Live earlier this year.
Hough and Bindi will show off their new skills during their performance on Monday night.
