Members of the small community were left devastated by the news.

The Baralaba Bash, a yearly music event hosted at the Pub, was set to go ahead next weekend and will be relocated.

"Baralaba is a resilient community and we will rally to make necessary changes to make the weekend very special," organisers wrote on Facebook.
