Popular beef mince recalled over plastic found in packets
A popular organic beef mince sold across Australia is being recalled over a potential health hazard.
Food Standards Australia and New Zealand issued the recall for Auspork Australia countryorganic beef mince due to plastic pieces being found within it.
If consumed, they may cause illness or injury, the regulator says.

The mince is sold in 500g packs at independent food stores, including IGA in NSW, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, SA, the Northern Territory and Supabarn in the ACT.
The affected packs carry a best before date of September 28, 2025.
Consumers are advised against eating the mince.
They should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
