Woman charged over Brisbane crash that put Greens MP in hospital
A woman has been charged over the central Brisbane crash that put Greens MP Amy MacMahon in hospital.
The member for South Brisbane was still in Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition tonight when police announced a 26-year-old Moorooka woman had been served a notice to appear for one count of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.
Police alleged the woman was driving a Hyundai i30 south on Main Street in Kangaroo Point about 6.30pm on February 12 when she collided with MacMahon's Toyota Prius, which was turning right from Baines Road.

At the time, federal Greens MP Max Chandler-Mather said the crash was "serious".
"Amy is conscious and her injuries are non life threatening," he said, on behalf of the party, on the night of the crash.
"She is recovering in hospital.
"Thank you to first responders and amazing health care workers that have been looking after her."
The younger woman was also taken to the PA Hospital, with minor injuries, but later released.

She's due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 14.
The forensic crash unit is still investigating.
