A Logan family has been left traumatised after being held at knife-point by a group of armed men during a violent home invasion on Monday.

Police believe three male adults are responsible - two of whom can be seen on CCTV approaching a house in Daisy Hill armed with large hunting knives.

In an exclusive interview with 9News, victim Richard McCooey said one of the men told him that he would kill him if he had to.
