Access to copyright works to be improved

Australians - especially those with disabilities - will be given greater access to a range of copyright material under proposed new laws.

The legislation, introduced in parliament on Wednesday, also allows libraries and archives more flexibility around preserving copyright material in their collection.

It also reduces red tape around the use of works and broadcasts for educational purposes, including in online exams.
