Shopkeeper who was brutally attacked blasts ‘disgraceful’ teen sentences

Shane Kensett is lucky to be alive.

A year after he was brutally attacked at his IGA on the Sunshine Coast, his physical wounds have healed but the psychological scars remain.

He and his young staff members live in constant fear knowing the teenagers responsible are walking free on the streets.

“Six were sentenced, and they’ve all had no convictions recorded, which is really, in my eyes, disgraceful,” he said.
