Rio Olympics: Wrong Kyle Chalmers lauded for Olympic gold medal

A Scottish Twitter user with the handle @kyle_chalmers has received dozens of tweets, applauding the 100m freestyle gold medal win scooped up by his Australian namesake counterpart.
"So apparently Ive just won a gold medal!!! Get in there! Great way to wake up! #wrongkyle #IDontSwimImTooFat, the mistaken identity posted.
It isn't the only case of a mistaken identity on social media, following the wins and losses at Rio.
An Englishman, Mark Horton, who has a smilar name to that of another Aussie golden boy, Mack Horton, was copping a lot of praise - and a lot of flak from Chinese Twitter users.
