White House releases sexual assault PSA

US President Barack Obama has joined forces with a slew of movies stars, including Daniel Craig and Steve Carell for a new campaign calling for an end to sexual violence.

In the public service announcement released by the White House, President Obama is joined by the celebrities in his urging for men to take a stand against sexual assault.

The one-minute clip features a stern Benicio Del Toro, the Oscar-winning star of the 2000 film Traffic, warning men that 'no means no'.

"If she doesn't consent or if she can't consent, it's rape," Del Toro says. "It's assault."

Comedian Steve Carell also joins in the warning chorus, adding: "It's a crime, it's wrong."

President Obama ends the message by stating that: "it's up to all of us to put an end to sexual assault."
