Wife of Marvel Comics giant Stan Lee dies aged 93

Joan Lee, wife of US comic book author, editor and publisher Stan Lee, has died aged 93 after suffering a stroke earlier this week.
Former English hat model, Ms Lee, was reportedly hospitalised for her condition before passing away this morning “quietly and surrounded by her family" a spokesperson for Stan Lee told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement.
Ms Lee and former Marvel Comics executive vice president and publisher Stan Lee, 94, were married on December 5, 1947.
The pair had two children, Joan Celia, born in 1950, and Jan who died shortly after her birth in 1953.
Lee has been credited with co-creating iconic Marvel Comics characters ranging from the Hulk, to Thor, Ironman and the X-Men.
