Terrifying moment gunman opened fire on Kansas City bus caught on camera

Video has been released of the moment a gunman opened fire at passengers on a public bus in the US, seriously injuring a 15-year-old girl.

The video, filmed on December 30 last year, was released on Tuesday by the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority and shows a man standing alone at a bus stop.

Filmed from a camera mounted outside the bus, the man is seen pulling a gun from his jacket and firing several times at the vehicle.

Another camera from inside the bus shows a man and woman rushing from their seats as bullets hit the window.

It’s believed the man was aiming for the girl’s boyfriend who was sitting beside her on the bus, according to KSHB-TV.

No arrests have been made and detectives are still seeking witnesses to help identify the shooter.
