Furious driver turns into Gollum when pinned by motorcyclist

A furious US driver took on an almost possessed appearance when he was pinned to the ground by a motorcyclist he attacked moments earlier.

The angry man took on an almost Gollum-like form when he hit the ground and found he could not move, unable to form words when challenged.

The bizarre altercation began when the motorcyclist allegedly drove between lanes near the driver on Saturday, an illegal practice in Arizona.

But what was hardly a major crime drew the ire of the Honda driver, who marched over to the motorcyclist at the traffic lights and punched him in the face.

The entire altercation was captured on the motorcyclist's helmet-camera, which had a close-up view of the fist coming closer.

The angry man then shoves the motorcyclist's petite girlfriend before taking another swing at the biker.

Unsteady on his feet, the driver is pushed to the ground and held there, which is where he starts looking almost demonic.

KYMA-TV reports nobody was arrested in the altercation.

"He has multiple charges against him including endangerment, threatening, and assault," the motorcyclist later claimed on YouTube.

"Myself and the police officers I spoke with clearly believe he was under the influence of something."

It is believed the attacker may have broken his ankle when he fell over.
