Barron Trump called to testify over his relationship with Andrew Tate
A congresswoman is demanding an investigation into accused sex criminals Andrew and Tristan Tate’s relationship with Donald Trump’s son Barron.
Representative Yassmin Ansari said the Tate brothers have extensive connections to the Trump administration, including 20-year-old Barron.

“Most egregiously, investigative reports have detailed direct, extensive communications between Andrew Tate and Barron Trump,” Ansari wrote.
“As well as the Tate brothers’ broader interactions with high-profile political figures within the President’s personal circle.”
Ansari demanded the House Oversight Committee investigate whether presidential advisors and members of the First Family, including Barron, influenced criminal prosecution or investigation of the Tates.
She has called on Barron to be subpoenaed to testify about his relationship to the Tates.
“The committee must learn from Barron Trump about his knowledge of the Tate brothers’ crimes, if he had any involvement whatsoever, and if he communicated with members of his father’s administration or the president himself regarding their legal proceedings,” Ansari wrote in a letter to the Oversight Committee Chair, James Comer.

The New York Times reported that Barron and Andrew Tate spoke over a video call in 2024.
Barron has never spoken publicly about the Tate brothers but his older half-brother Donald Jr has referred to Andrew Tate as a friend.
The Tate brothers were arrested in the United States on July 18 over a series of alleged offences committed between 2010 and 2017.
Andrew Tate, a prominent “manosphere” influencer, is facing seven rape charges, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and 19 additional charges for offences relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.

The Crown has also decided to prosecute Tristan Tate with one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation.
They are awaiting extradition to the UK.
Two days before their arrest, the Tate brothers were hosted by Paolo Zampolli, a longtime Trump friend and administration figure.
Andrew Tate has been prolific on X behind bars, though it is not apparent how he has access to the internet.
“I am being held in SHU, the highest level of security which exists,” he wrote.
“No commissary.
“No visits.
“No contact with the outside world.
“My neighbour is a cannibal who screams throughout the night.”
He described the accusations against him as “imaginary rape claims”.

Barron Trump has not addressed his connections to the Tate brothers, though the university student is notoriously private.
The Trump administration said they will not oppose the Tate brothers’ extradition to the UK.
This is not the first time the young Trump has been linked to a UK criminal case.
Barron contacted police in London when he witnessed an assault on a female friend during a video call.
Matvei Rumiantsev was jailed for four years for assaulting a woman when he saw she was speaking to Barron via Facetime.
