The road to the White House is paved with memorable moments and this election cycle is no different.
What started as a rematch of 2020 between Donald Trump and Joe Biden became a whole new ball game when the US President bowed out of the race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.
Before the US decides if it will elect its first female president or opt for a second Trump term, let's take a look back at the moment memorable moments of the campaign.
Vice President Kamala Harris hit the ground running, delivering a speech at an event near Scranton, Pennsylvania.
This marked the first of her pre-Election Day rallies in the battleground state.

An hour's drive away, First lady Jill Biden made an urgent plea to several hundred churchgoers at a church just a few kilometres from where she grew up.
"One vote can win an election, and one election can set a new course," Biden said at one of two morning services at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Spring House.
Latino singer and songwriter Frankie Negron also performed at the Allentown rally.
Lady Gaga and Katy Perry are also expected to headline Harris rallies in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh later today, in a celebrity push reminiscent of Hillary Clinton's final days on the campaign trail in 2016.
With less than 24 hours to go before Election Day, there have been high early voting totals reached in key battleground states.
About 77 million Americans have already voted early.
North Carolina is seeing a record turnout, surpassing its early-voting record set in 2020.
The Associated Press reports about 57 per cent of the state's 7.8 million registered voters have cast ballots in the general election.
Kamala Harris is expected to visit Allentown, Reading and Pittsburgh before closing out the campaign with a rally in Philadelphia.
