British police have found the bodies of two men after a blaze at a fireworks warehouse that sent plumes of black smoke and explosions into the sky.

Fifty firefighters spent several hours tackling the blaze late yesterday at the SP Plastics building in Stafford, central England.

Two men were taken to a local hospital, one with a back injury and another with serious burns.
