Aussie films own goring in Pamplona bull run

A Sydney man has told how he narrowly escaped serious injury at the hands of a bull while running at the Pamplona festival, only a week before two Australians were gored at the event.

Dee Why's Nicholas Kordahi managed to capture the moment a bull suddenly turned on him and charged at the famous San Fermin Festival last week.

“I was waiting with my mate, waiting for the bull to come out – next minute the crowd burst and there’s this bull staring me down,” he told the Triple M Grill team.

“I had no time to react – just me and a bull.”

Mr Kordahi can be heard yelling as the bull brushes against him before it charges off.

He said he was saddened to hear of the most recent incident involving two Australians.

Two Australians, a 24-year-old and a 26-year-old were gored by a bull while running today.

Festival spokeswoman Lucinda Poole described the condition of the 26-year-old as “grave” after he suffered injuries to his chest, abdomen and his left thigh.

“I’ve still got a bit of a sore ankle and a bit of a sore butt… but I’m ok,” Mr Kordahi said.

But despite the brush with a bull, he said he’d do it again.

“It’s one of the most adrenaline fueled moments of my life.”
