Cat causes crash for Russian couple

Note to self – never let your cat ride in the front seat.

An elderly Russian couple will need a refresher on basic road rules after dashcam vision captured them being rear ended by a semi-trailer after allowing their pet cat to act as a co-driver.

The journey starts off relatively normally as the pair drive down a busy Russian road, but that suddenly changes when the mammoth truck slams into them.

The crash causes the dashcam to spin around and face the travellers who appear more annoyed than anything else.

Instead of checking to see if his female passenger is all right, the male driver rummages below the camera to reveal his furry friend who he angrily throws onto the back seat.
