Turkish Airlines worker gets crafty while de-icing plane wing

Turkish Airlines haven't inspired confidence from its passengers after a technician's blundering attempts to de-ice a frozen plane wing.

Passengers stared out their windows in utter bemusement as man in high visibility vest teetered on the end of a ladder and attempted to pour a bottle of de-icing liquid over the frozen wing.

The job appeared to be going well – for a moment.

The weight of the jug got the better of the ground crewman, who started to fumble with the container before it eventually slipped through his fingers.

He eventually dropped it onto the wing and watched as it rolled towards the passenger filming the incident, where it crashed against the fuselage.

One Twitter user posted the video today with the headline "Turkish Airlines high tech de-icing method".
