Trio of turkeys filmed stalking cyclist on suburban street

A trio of turkeys have caused a cyclist some grief in the United States after they stalked the man as he was going about his morning exercise.

Dashcam footage recorded in North Carolina shows the three birds chasing after the cyclist on the side of a suburban street.

Despite multiple cars driving past them, the turkeys seemed unfazed by other vehicles and kept on the heels of the cyclist, who had slowed down to avoid hitting the birds.

The trio didn’t appear aggressive or violent, however, simply content to keep up with the man as he pedalled along. 

A group of turkeys is known as a ‘gang’ which, in this situation, seems very fitting.
