Hollywood actress Natalie Wood died in suspicious circumstances on November 29, 1981.

She was on a yacht with her former husband and Hollywood star Robert Wagner, actor Christopher Walken and the boat captain on the Thanksgiving weekend.
On November 29, 1990, Treasurer Paul Keating broke the news of a worsening economy to Australians with his famous remark: "This is the recession we had to have".
He was speaking after national accounts showed there had been a 1.8 per cent fall in gross domestic product (GDP) and the economy was heading for deep trouble.
