Today in History - April 11 | After ripping off 104 other women, his 105th wife tracked him down
A US man was jailed for an outrageous string of fraud and bigamy charges on April 11, 1983.
Giovanni Vigliotto would marry a woman, then pack up her belongings in a moving truck, organising to meet her at his home.
When she would arrive at the address, he was not there.
Instead he would disappear and sell her things at markets.
Vigliotto did this successfully to 104 victims.
But the 105th drove to every market she could find, eventually tracking him down in Florida.
He was sentenced to 28 years in prison, and died behind bars at Arizona State Prison eight years later.
An English man sold everything he owned in order to bet an enormous sum on a single spin of roulette on April 11, 2004.
Ashley Revell, 32, bet the equivalent of A$285,000 on red at the Plaza Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
If he lost, all the money he had would disappear in an instant.
But he won, doubling his money.
He used his winnings to start an online poker company, which went out of business in 2012.
Revell's previous job was that of the News Bunny, a mascot for a short-lived UK TV channel.
The News Bunny's job was to stand behind the newsreader and give a thumbs up or thumbs down for either good news or bad news.
He now works as an account manager for a cybersecurity company.
Many of his victims were fed to crocodiles in the River Nile. At one point, so many bodies were fed to crocs that remains sometimes blocked intake ducts at the country's biggest hydroelectric plant.
After his downfall, Amin went into exile in Saudi Arabia where he died in 2003.
