The birthday present hidden inside an Apple Watch box that reduced a man to tears

An emotional video has captured the moment a father-to-be burst into tears after his wife gave him a positive pregnancy test, disguised inside an Apple Watch box, for his birthday.

Catie Leay from Wyoming in the United States told her husband “this is a gift that has been hiding in plain sight for a while, but I got you something that I wanted us to be able to share together”.

Her husband was asked to cover his eyes and not peak as she placed the box on his lap.

With permission, he opened his eyes and began to open the box.

“Oh, is this that watch? Really?” he said.

When he lifted the lid and found the pregnancy test he broke down in tears of joy.

"What? Are you serious? Are you serious?” he said.

The heart-warming video was uploaded onto Facebook by Ms Leay, and has now been shared more than 200,000 times.
