Viral video shows blobs of spiders falling from ceiling

It’s an arachnaphobe’s worst nightmare – hundreds of thousands of spiders swarming around the inside of a shed.

In a video posted online last week, huge black clusters of daddylong legs completely cover the white ceiling to the point where it drips blobs of live spiders.

An onlooker is heard laughing as one of the clusters falls to the ground and the Harvestmen race away in all directions.

Daddylong legs are known to group together and form clusters in colder weather to stay warm.

Despite being terrifying on-mass daddylong legs spiders are harmless to humans.

This latest footage follows a viral video from January which showed the nightmarish moment a man touched what appeared to be a clump of fur, but was really dozens of spiders.
