The Australian Open has been targeted for ridicule by a notorious Taiwanese animation company after several players broke down during Melbourne's heat wave.

The clip, produced by Next Media Animation, pokes fun at the suffering tennis stars as well as featuring staple Australian stereotypes; kangaroos, koalas and cans of VB beer.

Melbourne's extreme temperatures have played havoc with the grand slam event, leaving players and spectators alike suffering from the heat.

The animation features Canadian player Frank Dancevic's assertion he saw cartoon character Snoopy on court before collapsing as well as French star's Jo-Wilfred Tsonga's melting shoes.

NMA first rose to prominence with a hilarious take of Tiger Wood's infidelities in 2009, while the company itself was in the spotlight in 2013 after a disgruntled journalist created a viral video to resign from the company.
