A Moscow strip club is employing its troupe of semi-naked dancers to uncover and enlist the city's finest young hackers.

The role of lingerie-clad dancers is to try and distract the assembled mob of computer geeks from cracking complex coding problems, The Sun reports.

The unorthodox recruitment drive took place in the Golden Girls club, with the winner landing a job at the venue and receiving a line of company credit – also known as lap dance vouchers.

"The goal of the hackathon is to put a programmer in very difficult, critical conditions," Lucky Lee, club owner, told the paper.

"One would need to develop a prototype programme despite the fact that there are beautiful girls around."

The winner is yet to be named.
