Woman dodges runaway Russian bus

A Russian woman has narrowly avoided being hit by a bus after the runaway vehicle crashed into the shelter she was standing in earlier this month.

CCTV footage recorded the commuter waiting to be picked up alongside a road in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia when a bus careened into the side of the shelter.

The woman crouched to the ground as the glass and metal structure exploded around her.

Despite the amount of damage, she managed to crawl out from underneath the twisted wreckage unharmed.

The woman appears visually perplexed as she looks back at the rubble.

The Express reported the bus continued travelling down the road until it struck another vehicle.

The video is believed to have been shot on August 2, but has only recently been released publicly.
