Prankster parents tell their son he has Ebola

A video in which a US couple tell their "bad" son that he has Ebola has divided the internet over whether it is "heartless" or "hilarious".

The video, which has gone viral over the past few days, shows the mother from Houston taking her son’s temperature.

“Look at his temperature,” the mother says, showing the thermometer to the father, who promptly declares he has Ebola.

The boy immediately lets out of horrified wail at the news, while a boy who appears to be his younger brother runs off.

Some viewers of the video have been quick to condemn the actions of the prankster parents.

“WOW, that is cruel,” one YouTube user wrote, while another promptly leapt to their defence.

“Come on man! It’s just a prank. Relax!”
