A Pakistani journalist has taken in-depth reporting to new levels.
Azadar Hussain has become an internet sensation for his willingness to take the plunge for a live report on Punjab province’s devastating floods, delivered neck deep in water with only his head and microphone visible.

Unfazed by floodwaters flowing around him, the journalist explained the impact the disaster was having on surrounding farmlands.
The video was shared online by Pakistan’s GTV News and drawn attention around the world, including some who saw the funny side.
“The gentleman has raised the level of reporting to a new level,” one social media user wrote.
Others worried for Hussain’s safety.
“This is downright dangerous and I doubt it very much that he gets life insurance from his employer,” wrote one social media user.
“Such reporting needs to be discouraged … he can drown,” added another.
