North Korea unveils dictator's childhood pics

Never-before-seen childhood photographs of Kim Jong-Un have emerged during a concert broadcast in North Korea.

The photographs show the 31-year-old dictator as a boy dressed in military uniform.

The new pictures were projected onto a screen behind an orchestra playing a concert for the nation's air force, which was televised on state-run media.

Audiences saw Kim as a chubby toddler making a salute, as a young pupil writing at his desk, and as a teenager sitting at the controls of an aeroplane.

Only a handful of pictures of Kim as a young boy have been seen, including one showing him with his mother Ko Yong-hui.

Just one photograph is known to exist from his days as a school student in Switzerland, showing him on a strip with fellow pupils under the name of Pak Un, which he used to disguise his real identity.
