Daredevil goes flying off epic slide

Water slides are fun – but sometimes you need that extra push that can only come from a motorised device.

If you thought joining to the two together was a recipe for disaster, well, you were right.

And now there is video to prove it.

The footage, which was uploaded to LiveLeak, shows a crowd gathered around a water slide as man sits atop it nestled in a small boat attached by a long rope to a motorbike.

Suddenly, as the roar of the bike's engine ignites, the man goes speeding down the slide.

As the contraption goes airborne in one direction, the man goes flying in another and – after a few inelegant tumbles mid-air - crashes into the water .

Best not to try this one at home.
