Martial arts freak shreds with kitchen knife nunchuks

As if swinging around a pair of nunchuks at pace isn't dangerous enough, a Polish martial artist has upped the ante by modifying the ancient weapon with a psychotic modern twist.

On Tuesday, Polish martial artist Kacper Borowski posted a video of himself, shirtless and totally ripped, training with the nunchaku – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Michelangelo's weapon of choice – except Borowski is way too hardcore to bother with the classic set up of two wooden batons joined by a short chain.

Instead he opts for knives - two, 12-inch, steel butcher's knives that are so sharp that Borowski barely has to touch an apple with them to slice it in two.

Then the fun really begins, slowly at first but building to a full head of steam, as Borowski spins, flicks and twirls the blades around his face, neck and nether regions.

In the space of just a few minutes, he jeopardises every major organ and appendage many times over at dizzying speed.

Luckily the impressive display ends without so much as a nick.
