Authorities say Clay, Lareal Goode and Goode's 14-year-old daughter were sitting in a car when Clay shot Goode.

Speaking to the St Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper after the killing, Goode's mother, Joann Goode, said: "My daughter didn't deserve this ... She didn't deserve to go out like this."

Police say he shot her because she refused to drive him to a pawnshop and give him the money to get his TV back.
