Irish dad gets a redo after accidental selfie video

An Irish dad who inadvertently filmed himself during a holiday in Vegas because he was holding his camera backwards has been given a free holiday to redo his video.

Joseph Griffin filmed himself in his hotel room, sitting in the car, standing on escalators and walking down the Vegas Strip in the accidentally hilarious video.

In less than a week, Mr Griffin's embarrassing four-minute YouTube clip has been watched more than seven million times.

As a result the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority gave Mr Griffin a second shot at getting his video right.

In a new video posted online a few hours ago, Mr Griffin is fitted with two cameras on his selfie stick, so we see both him and the city.

Mr Griffin is seen sitting on a gondola, riding a zipline and partying in what looks a little bit like a strip club.

Turns out looking foolish on the internet does pay off sometimes.
