Hawk lands on fan’s head during pre-game NFL entertainment

A huge bird of prey shocked a fan at an NFL game in the US after landing on his head.

Taima, a mascot for the Seattle Seahawks, flew over the crowd during pre-game festivities and landed on the confused fan.

The Augur hawk was supposed to return to its trainer on the field ahead of the Seahawks versus Giants game, Fox Sports reported.

The fan got to pat the bird after the surprise landing.

The Seahawks tweeted an apology from Taima, who they said was embarrassed by all of the attention.
