Search for owner of GoPro buried at bottom of the ocean

Holiday memories have been recovered after a Florida diver came across a Go Pro buried in the ocean.

A good Samaritan named Jennifer Herr found the camera in the sea at Turtle Beach near Siesta Key, and is now working to return it to its owner.

Ms Herr was in the middle of a dive navigation class, when she saw the barnacle-covered camera on the ocean floor.

“I had to soak it in vinegar overnight and chip at it to try and get the barnacles off,” she told ABC Action News.

Mr Herr has since posted a photo of the owner and his family on social media in hopes that they will see the post and claim the Go Pro.
