Gangsters gatecrash wedding, beat up family and guests

Ten men with ties to a Chinese gang have been arrested after reportedly gatecrashing a wedding and beating up family and guests.

At least five people were injured when the group of armed thugs recently stormed the ceremony in Chengdu, the Sichuan capital, in search of the groom.

Dramatic footage of the incident showed the unwelcome intruders pouring out of a convoy of black cars, before wildly throwing punches and chasing after fleeing guests.

According to local media, the men were hired by the groom's neighbour, who he reportedly argued with shortly before the wedding.

While the neighbour confessed his part to police three days after the incident, it took officers up to a month to track down and arrest the attackers.

All are now said to be in custody. The investigation continues.
