Florida woman encounters panther in a nature sanctuary

A Florida woman has had a frighteningly close shave with a panther during a morning walk through a nature sanctuary.

Tina Dorschel uploaded the video to Facebook, showing a quiet walk across a meandering boardwalk in the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary when she abruptly pauses.

“Oh my god,” she says, as the big cat then comes into view, running down the bridge.

Luckily for Ms Dorschel, the animal runs straight past and appears to pay no attention to her.

“Holy sh-t,” she says, before the video ends.

The video has been viewed almost two million times.
