Firefighters use scissors to rescue boy who got his head stuck in a sofa

Firefighters in China have reportedly rescued a young boy who got his head stuck inside a sofa.

The four-year-old was at a beauty salon with his parents in the country's Guizhou Province when the mishap occurred, ITV News reported.

He had stuck his head through a hole in the sofa out of curiosity but was unable to get out.

Firefighters used scissors to cut through the cushions and sofa frame.

The boy was uninjured.
