Evacuation orders issued as ‘volcano of fire’ erupts in Mexico

Hot lava spewing from the Colima volcano in Mexico have prompted hundreds of people from nearby homes to evacuate.
Lava could be seen spilling from the top and sides of the volcano 690km north-west of Mexico City.
More than 350 people in nearby La Yerbabeuna and La Becerrera were evacuated, according to the BBC.

Colima volcano is known in Mexico as the Volcano of Fire, and is one of the most active volcanoes in Central America.
