Top 20 'dream jobs' around the world revealed - along with Australia's pick
A new global study has revealed the top 20 "dream jobs" of people around the world.
Financial services provider Remitly analysed the results of Google searches from 180 countries involving "How to be a (job)" to reveal the careers people were most interested in.
There have been some significant shifts since the last time this study was conducted in 2022, showing global priorities are changing.
Here are the top 20 most-Googled careers in the world - plus, as a bonus, what Australia's favourite "dream job" is.

20. Paramedic
Paramedic surged up 19 spots to crack the top 20 compared to 2022, with 136,820 global searches.
19. Psychiatrist
It's the first time "psychiatrist" made the list, with 153,290 searches.
"The growing interest in health-related careers is particularly inspiring and could still be an impact of the pandemic causing people to seek out roles that serve their communities," Remitly vice president of marketing for EMEA and APAC Ryan Riley said.
18. Estate agent
"Estate agent" gained 64 places compared to 2022, with 153,640 searches.
17. Flight attendant
"Flight attendant" dropped on the list but only by two spots, with a career in the skies still tempting many. It had 154,810 searches globally.
16. Firefighter
"Firefighter" held steady in 16th spot with 155,120 searches.
15. Psychologist
Psychologist remained a popular potential career choice, with 160,270 searches.
14. Dietitician
The job of a dietician appeals to many more now than it did in 2022, leaping 79 spots with 170,920 searches.
13. YouTuber
But the appeal of a YouTube career appears to be slipping, with a total 171,840 searches seeing it drop nine spots.
12. Professor
What kind of professor? Doesn't matter - 175,420 searches show people are interested in the option.
