Dozens of excavators unite to demolish Chinese overpass in one night

Eighty-six excavators have made light work of an overpass in China, combining their powers to demolish it in just one night.

The machines were filmed lining the elevated road in the Jiangxi Province and then tearing it apart to make way for a subway on Saturday night, the South China Morning Post reported.

Crowds could be seen enjoying the rare sight and posing in front of the excavators.

"The demolition scene was spectacular, but I had mixed feelings seeing [the overpass] pulled down," a policeman told the newspaper.
