DIY dementor drone flies across US sky

A US man has gotten creative, using a drone to spook the masses ahead of Halloween.

Musician Zac Cruger posted video and images of the air-borne creepy creation, which has visible similarities to the terrifying fictional dementors featured in the Harry Potter novels, to social media earlier this week.

Video shows the black ‘dementor drone’ in action against a blue sky, hovering above and around what appears to be a farm house.

Mr Cruger explained the ghoulish creature was thought up by his uncle Michael Irvine, who recently bought a drone and began flying it around southern Wisconsin with a fake skeleton attached.

"…so my uncle got a drone now he’s f---ing with people," Mr Cruger wrote in a Twitter post, garnering almost 300,000 ‘likes’.
