Dalai Lama impersonates Trump

He may be the last person you would expect an impression from, but the Dalai Lama has raised eyebrows and garnered LOLs the world over after impersonating Donald Trump.

The spiritual leader was being interviewed by Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain when he commented on the US presidential hopeful’s hair and mouth.

Morgan posted a quip on his Twitter feed, following the interview: “The Dalai Lama just made fun of @realDonaldTrump’s hair.”

When asked if he had met Donald Trump, His Holiness answered, “Never”.

Then when Morgan asks, “What do you think of him?”, the response is what commentators the world over have described as “priceless”.

“I don’t know. Sometimes, he’s sort of, the way his hair … and his mouth … that’s my impression”.

Although less staged and certainly unplanned, His Holiness joins a long list of leaders, commentators, comedians and actors to have offered up impersonations of Trump.

Jimmy Fallon, Hillary Clinton, Johnny Depp and Ted Cruz have all had a turn as Trump.
