Broom cupboard turned tiny flat hits the market

It’s one of the flashiest suburbs in one of the world’s most expensive cities where an average unit costs up to A$2.2 million.

A couple of British architects have come up with a solution to London’s sky-high living costs: to transform what was once a broom cupboard into a liveable space.

Ian Hogath and his wife’s miniscule yet well-designed apartment is located on the landing of an old Victorian block of flats in Kensington.

With the kitchen seamlessly fit into the corridor and the toilet found wedged inside the shower, every inch matters.

The couple bought the space back in 2007, and now it’s on the market for almost A$375,000.
