Colourblind US man gifted with corrective glasses given an extra special surprise

A colourblind US man given a pair of corrective glasses by his friends was given an extra surprise as he realised for the first time that his daughter’s hair was in fact purple.

Video showed Brant Estes handing his colourblind friend a pair of Enchroma colour correction glasses, his face lighting up as he took in the new colours surrounding him.

He can then be seen turning and looking at his daughter, who was in on the surprise, noticing her hair was an unusual colour.

“Oh my God, your hair’s purple!” he said.

Mr Estes told the Telegraph he gave the US$350 glasses to his friend as a birthday present.

He also said his friend’s daughter had dyed her hair purple specifically for the occasion.
