Convicted domestic abuser and US singer Chris Brown has been named a suspect in another violent altercation, after a fight broke out in a luxury hotel suite in Las Vegas.
Brown, 25, is accused of brawling with another man in the early hours of Monday morning local time (Tuesday evening AEST) after the pair got into an argument while shooting hoops at the Palms Casino Resort, according to TMZ.
The alteration occurred in the Hardwood Suite where Brown was staying.
Brown allegedly punched the man several times. The man took himself to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
The singer has been charged with battery.
He only recently completed probation after beating up his former girlfriend, Barbadian singer Rihanna, in February 2009.
He pleaded guilty to felony assault and was sentenced to six months of community service as well as probation for that assault.
Brown has a string of other criminal charges and was denied entry to Canada in February this year as a result.
