British biker shot dead by hunter in French Alps

A British mountain bike rider has been shot dead by a hunter’s stray bullet in the French Alps.
Marc Sutton, 34, was killed while riding along a popular track close to the Swiss border near Montriond, BBC reports.
Mr Sutton was shot by a 22-year-old hunter who taken to hospital suffering severe shock.
Thonon-Les-Bains prosecutor Philippe Toccanier told AP Mr Sutton’s death is being treated as a tragic accident.
However, he said Mr Sutton’s bright coloured riding gear meant he “couldn’t be confused with game”.
Mr Sutton, was originally from south Wales. He owned a restaurant in the small ski resort town of Les Gets in the French Alps.
According to the BBC, more than 20 people have died in hunting accidents in France in the past three years.
