'I don't think he even danced at my mum's wedding': Bindi Irwin reveals her father's hidden fear
Bindi Irwin has revealed that her dad Steve Irwin had a secret fear – the dance floor.
Appearing on Ellen in the US, the Dancing with the Stars performer, 17, said she doesn’t think the famed “crocodile hunter” even danced at his wedding to her mum, Terri.
“Dad wasn’t exactly known for his dancing. I don’t think he even danced at my mum’s wedding,” she said, laughing, as the camera showed brother Bob and mum Terri smiling in the studio audience.
“It was my mum’s day, and he wouldn’t dance, but what’s really special for me, it’s important to be able to spread that love and light and to remember that the meaning of life is unconditional love,” she said.
Bindi, who appeared on the talk show with her dancing partner Derek Hough said it had been “amazing” dedicating the show’s season to her dad, who died after being struck by a stingray barb on September 4, 2006.
“It’s been amazing, I mean this entire season,” she said.
