Batman spotted cruising on Tokyo highway
Crime might not take a holiday, but the Caped Crusader has been spotted cruising around in a city that wasn't Gotham.
Batman was spotted on a Japanese highway on Saturday, riding on a souped-up Bat-trike, the Huffington-Post Japan reports.
The normally-nocturnal vigilante was spotted and recorded by several people as he travelled away from Tokyo Harbour, but there were no reported sightings of a Bat-boat.
Some Tokyo residents spotted the Dark Knight moving around at a slower pace through the city's streets with one citizen asking if he could take a photo.
"I asked if I could take his picture, and he silently gave me a thumbs-up," they said about the stoic crime fighter.
However, there were no reports of the Bat squaring off against any super villains, so it is possible he was in Japan to brush up on his ninja skills.
Or perhaps Japan is where he goes to get those wonderful toys.
